Windows: how to upload and view a site whose nameservers aren’t set up

Add the IP and domain name in the local machine’s HOSTS file: C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/DRIVERS/ETC on WinXP For example:

217.146.186.51 www.yahoo.co.uk

Remember to remove it once the nameservers have been set up.
